Spike TV – Ink Masters
Spike TV was best known for UFC and adrenaline programming, which had left the network with a narrow audience base. In 2012, Spike TV launched a new series of programs that were positioned to rebrand the network to make it more attractive to a larger audience. SwellShark was retained to build a digital media strategy and plan that would introduce new programming such as Ink Masters, Auction Hunters & American Diggers to a new target audience.
We focused on large impact custom integrated media that would tell the new programming’s full story for individuals that were not familiar with the channel. In January 2012 Ink Master debuted and quickly became the highest rated program nearly doubling the typical audience ratings for an average Spike program.
